The Zoning Hearing Board consists of 3 members who are appointed to three-year terms by Borough Council. The Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial board that hears zoning appeals and renders decisions. Their scope includes, but is not limited to, decisions of the Zoning Officer, challenges to the validity of land use ordinances, procedural questions or defects, appeals from determinations of the municipal engineer regarding issues with flood plains, variance or special exception requests and issues regarding transfer of development rights.
The Zoning Hearing Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at Borough Hall on an as-needed basis.
